Hoary Cress

Cardaria draba

Hoary Cress is a member of the mustard family, which composes a large group of noxious weeds.  It is a creeping perennial which reaches a height of up to 2 feet, and can be found along highways and in forest understory.  It was introduced through urban environments in its use as flower arrangement filler.  Hoary Cress is best characterized by its tiny four petaled white flowers and clasping upper stem leaves that are two-lobed.
